DraftKings showdown tournament picks for Tuesday night’s (October 13, 2020) Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans game
Welcome, Jay here and I’m back again with more NFL DFS DraftKings tournament picks. This time its two undefeated teams as the 4-0 Buffalo Bills face the 3-0 Tennessee Titans on Tuesday night, October 13.
These picks are made early, so be sure to look at the latest injury reports. I lead off with a showdown pick, just ignore that if you don’t play in those. The player advice/info is still the same.
Check out the latest line and O/U and then on to the picks.
Bills -3.5, over/under is 53.5 points.
Buffalo Bills (4-0) at Tennessee Titans (3-0) NFL DraftKings Showdown Captain Pick
Devin Singletary, Bills RB (DK $8,000)
His rushing attempts, receptions and targets have all gone up in each of the last 3 games. Tennessee Defense is 2nd to last in rushing yards allowed per game at 166.
I usually mention for anyone new that I take a lot of risks with my captain pick. Titans TE Jonnu Smith is another one of those I like. If I’m playing safe, I’d go with Bills QB Josh Allen or WR Stefon Diggs.
Buffalo Bills (4-0) at Tennessee Titans (3-0) NFL DraftKings Flex Picks
Josh Allen, Bills RB (DK $13,000)
He’s really expensive at 13k but he’s averaging 33 DK FPTS a game. 12 passing TD’s already with just 1 INT and 3 more TD’s on the ground. I think he could break a long run or two against this defense and have an even bigger game than normal.
Stefon Diggs, Bills WR ($10,800)
Diggs has been great this year with over 100 receiving yards per game and 2 TD’s. He’s expensive but averaging 21 DK FPTS. His worst game he still had 15 FPTS, and the Titans pass defense isn’t very good.
I like him more than Titans RB Derrick Henry at 11K. Bills have the 8th best defense against the run and I’m expecting the Titans to be playing from behind most of the game.
Ryan Tannehill, Titans QB ($9,800)
Buffalo defense is one of the worst in the NFL against the pass. I just mentioned about Henry so I’m figuring Tannehill throws a lot. Against this defense, he could score a good amount of points. Titans WR AJ Brown is questionable, but it sounds like he’s going to play as of this writing.
Jonnu Smith, Titans TE ($7,200)
I really like Smith at that price, against a defense that is 27th against TE’s. He’s averaging 16 DK FPTS and has 3 TD’s in 3 games.
Kalif Raymond, Titans WR ($4,800)
He had a first big game last week with 118 yards and a TD. Again I’m expecting the Titans to be playing from behind and throwing a lot. I think he’s a decent option if Brown plays and even better if he doesn’t.
Stephen Gostkowski, Titans K ($3,800)
He’s been ridiculous over the last two weeks, hitting 8/8 FG’s and 4 of them for over 50 yards. I’m riding the hot hand, or foot here.
Dawson Knox, Bills TE ($3,400)
Knox returned from a concussion last week and only played around 50% of the snaps. He should play more this week and the Titans give up a ton of yards a game. He’s worth a look at that price.
Isaiah McKenzie, Bills WR ($800)
He’s had at least one reception in each game, 7 on 8 targets. He also picked up two rushing attempts last week. If you take a guy like McKenzie at this price, you can stack a bunch of top options. And who knows, maybe he catches a TD or something.
I mentioned Diggs but I also like the much cheaper Bills WR Cole Beasley at $6,800. Titans WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine didn’t have a catch last week, but he had 2 targets and is only $200. And I didn’t consider either defense.
That’s it for now, best of luck out there and see you on the next edition of…
