Christopher Daniels Wins DEFY Wrestling World Championship

AEW star, former ROH and IMPACT star and overall pro wrestling legend, Christopher Daniels showed up at DEFY last night and left as new World Champion! “The Fallen Angel” defeated Brody King to win the vacant DEFY World Championship at DEFY “Dark Horse” on 12/18/21. Congrats to CD and hopefully this is the start of a great new singles run.

Next up for DEFY is an event on January 14th, tickets will be available at their official site.

Christopher Daniels is 51 years old and can still wrestle and more importantly entertain fans much better than most wrestlers half his age. As a huge fan of his, I would LOVE to see him return to IMPACT Wrestling where he seemingly would be used correctly, unlike in AEW.

I realize All Elite Wrestling has a ton of talent, but they need entertainment and I don’t think there’s many better in the history of wrestling than Daniels. So I see that as a huge fail on their part, having a guy SO talented and not using him on television.
