Dateline NBC will investigate allegations against fashion mogul Peter Nygard, accused of sex trafficking dozens of women over several decades. Through exclusive interviews with Nygard’s accusers, former employees and his own children, the two-hour broadcast, The Secrets of Nygard Cay, will reveal new details in the case.
During Friday’s broadcast, Nygard’s former treasurer, Maridel Carbuccia, speaks out in her first interview about allegations that Nygard drugged and sexually assaulted her. Carbuccia tells Dateline, “I started getting fuzzy vision and really, really dizzy. And I couldn’t feel my hands. I just hear him talking to me and talking to me and then all of a sudden I just wasn’t functional anymore. And I tried, like mentally, I was trying to get up. But, I couldn’t get up. He was just on top of me. And I kept trying to push away. I was like, ‘Peter, get off me. What are you doing?’” She added, “When I woke up in the morning, I was just there by myself.
