The October 29 two-hour “Dateline NBC” episodes air at 9PM ET. Hour one goes beyond the headlines with exclusive interviews and new details in the Murdaugh saga. While hour two spotlights new developments in the Kristin Smart disappearance.

Family members of Gloria Satterfield, a housekeeper employed by prominent South Carolina lawyer Alex Murdaugh, speak out for the first time about her death after she fell at the Murdaugh’s household. Gloria’s brother and sister also discuss the recent indictment of Alex for allegedly misappropriating insurance money meant for Gloria’s family.
The interview is part of an all-new two-hour Dateline NBC block.
During the two-hour block, Dateline will also report on new developments in the disappearance of California Polytechnic State University freshman Kristin Smart. Who vanished after leaving a party in 1996. In network TV exclusive interviews, Kristin’s brother and a former student who was at the party Smart attended will speak with Dateline correspondent Josh Mankiewicz. Mankiewicz also interviews insiders close to the case, including Your Own Backyard podcast host Chis Lambert and San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Ian Parkinson.
