DiscussPW exclusive free DFS Starting Pitchers picks for MLB (Major League Baseball) games on Monday, April 26, 2021
Welcome all, I’m right back at it with more MLB DFS starting pitchers picks. This time for the MLB games on Monday, April 26. I’ve been doing pretty well with these SP picks so far. You can check out all of my columns/picks at this link. These are just some of my favorite picks overall, not based on DraftKings or Fanduel money. But I only take one top SP (if any) in each column, cause it’d be lame picking a bunch of the top players.
Enough BS, let’s do it!
MLB DFS Starting Pitchers
Jose Berrios, Twins
Berrios is having a good start to the season (3.00 ERA, 0.95 WHIP w/ 30 Ks & 7 BBs). He’s 5-3 career against the Indians with 3.96 ERA over 72 IP. He’s also been much better in away games early on, with a 0.82 ERA & 17 Ks & 1 BB over 11 IP. The Indians are 2nd to last in runs scored in all of MLB, as of this writing.
Tyler Mahle, Reds
Mahle is only 1-1 but he’s pitched really well this season. He has a 1.74 ERA w/ 31 K’s in 20.2 IP and is coming off his best game after giving up 0 ER in 6.2 IP w/ 9 K’s. He’s been great against the Dodgers in 3 career starts (2-1 2.12 ERA).
Adam Wainwright, Cardinals
Wainwright got hammered in his first start this season but has been good since. He’s given up just 1 ER in two of his last three starts w/ 23 Ks to 5 BBs over that time. He’s 7-3 career against the Phillies with an ERA of 3.10 in 93 IP.
Lucas Giolito, White Sox
Giolito was pitching well before getting destroyed by the Red Sox in his last start. He lasted 1 inning, giving up 7 ERs with 2 BBs & 0 Ks. He’s pitching at home here, in his one start at home this season, he went 7 scoreless vs CLE. He’s only pitched against Texas once in his career, but it was a win (6 IP w/ 1 ER).
Disclaimer Thing- I’m no expert, I’m not even a writer. But I enjoy doing these and sometimes I get things right.
