PGA DraftKings DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) picks for the 2021 John Deere Classic, taking place July 8th to July 11th at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois
Welcome or welcome back golf fans, gamblers and whoever else. I’m keeping my PGA streak going with more DraftKings fantasy picks for the 2021 John Deere Classic. For anyone new, I’m pretty good at PGA DFS, but don’t take my word for it. You can see all of my previous picks/columns at the link.
The tournament was canceled last year due to the pandemic. Dylan Frittelli is the defending champ and Michael Kim won in 2018. Bryson DeChambeau won in 2017, Ryan Moore in 2016 and Jordan Spieth is a two-time winner (2013 & 2015).
If anyone ever has any questions or comments, leave them below. You can also hit me up on Twitter. I’m not a fan of social media, but I’ll always talk fantasy sports.
2021 John Deere Classic Top DraftKings Picks
Brian Harman ($10,400)
Harman is coming off a T5 at Travelers and has now finished top-20 (w/ three top-10s) in seven of his last eight events. He won this event in 2014, also finished T10 in 2017.
Zach Johnson ($8,500)
Zach has made four of his last six cuts, coming off a T25 at Travelers. More importantly, he’s been absolutely ridiculous at this event. He’s made the cut in each of his last twelve trips, with seven top-10s! That includes a win in 2012, three runner-ups (2009, 2013 & 2014), T3 in 2011 & 2015, and T5 in 2017.
Patrick Rodgers ($7,400)
Rodgers has now made four straight cuts, but still has zero top-10’s this season. He finished runner-up here in 2017.
Scott Stallings ($7,400)
Scott is coming off a T25 at Travelers and has now made five of his last seven cuts. He finished T16 here in 2016, T5 in 2017 and T18 in 2019.
Some other players I like: Kevin Streelman, Sungjae Im, Seamus Power, Lucas Glover, Kyle Stanley, Pat Perez & Chez Reavie.
And for just tourneys: Patton Kizzire, Beau Hossler, Richy Werenski, Keith Mitchell & Scott Piercy.
