PGA DraftKings DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) picks for The 2021 Open Championship, taking place July 15th to July 18th at Royal St George’s Golf Club

What’s up everybody, it’s time for another PGA major! I’m feeling good after another solid week with my DraftKings fantasy picks. I’ve mentioned the winner in the “extras” section in each of the last two weeks. This time I’m picking for the 2021 Open Championship at Royal St George’s Golf Club. The event was held here in 2011, 2003 and earlier, so not much course history to go on.

The tournament was canceled last year due to the pandemic. Shane Lowry is the defending champ, Francesco Molinari won in 2018, Jordan Spieth in 2017, Henrik Stenson in 2016, and a lot of others before that.

For anyone new, you can see all of my previous picks/columns at the link. If anyone ever has any questions or comments, leave them below. You can also hit me up on Twitter. I’m not a fan of social media, but I’ll always talk fantasy sports.

2021 Open Championship Top DraftKings Picks

Xander Shauffele ($10,000)

Is this the week Shauffele finally wins his first major? I think it could be. He’s finished top-11 in each of his last three events. One of those was a T7 at the U.S Open and he also finished T3 at this year’s Masters. He tied for runner-up at the Open Championship in 2018.

Louis Oosthuizen ($9,300)

Louis has amazingly finished runner-up in each of the last two majors (last month’s U.S Open & the PGA Championship in May). He won the Open Championship in 2010 and finished runner-up in 2015.

Value Picks

Kevin Kisner ($6,900)

Kisner is another who struggled for most of the season, but now has back-to-back top-10’s. He’s made three straight cuts and four out of the last five. He also tied for runner-up at the Open Championship in 2018.

Chez Reavie ($6,700)

Reavie’s had a rough season with only one top-10 and had a run of six straight missed cuts. Recently he’s been a lot better tho, with three top 25’s over his last five events. That includes a T18 at last week’s John Deere Classic.

Extras

Some other players I like: Dustin Johnson, Will Zalatoris, Matt Fitzpatrick, Abraham Ancer & Stewart Cink.

And for just tourneys: Webb Simpson, Marc Leishman, Francesco Molinari, Alex Noren & Talor Gooch.
