PGA DraftKings DFS picks for the 2021 Travelers Championship, taking place June 24 to June 27 at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut
Welcome or welcome back golf fans, gamblers and whoever else. I’m at it again with PGA DraftKings picks for the 2021 Travelers Championship. For anyone new, I’ve been doing pretty well this season. But don’t take my word for it, you can see all of my previous picks/columns at the link.
Alright, let’s get right to the Travelers!
Dustin Johnson is the defending champ, Chez Reavie won in 2019 and Bubba Watson is a 3-time winner here (2010, 2015 & 2018). Jordan Spieth won in 2017, Russell Knox in 2016, and a whole lot more before that.
The Travelers Championship has been held at TPC River Highlands since 1984.
If anyone ever has any questions or comments, leave them below. You can also hit me up on Twitter. I’m not a fan of social media, but I’ll always talk fantasy sports.
Travelers Championship Top DraftKings Picks
Bryson DeChambeau ($11,100)
Bryson has been struggling a bit since three top 10 finishes (including a win at the Arnold Palmer), over four events from March to early May. He finished T18 at the Memorial and played really well at the U.S Open, until a final round of 77, which dropped him to a T26 finish. He’s been great here and trending the right way, finishing T9 in 2018, T8 in 2019 and T6 last year.
Kevin Streelman ($9,400)
Streelman is coming off a T15 at the Open, now giving him four straight top 20 finishes. He’s also been great here, winning in 2014 and finishing runner-up to DJ to last year. Plus, a T8 in 2017 & T15 in 2019.
Brendan Steele ($7,200)
Steele has really been struggling since a T3 finish at the Honda Classic. But he’s been amazingly consistent here, finishing top 25 in seven of his last eight trips! That includes T6 last year and a T5 in 2014. He’s more of tourney pick due to recent play. But as a course history freak, I like him a lot.
Adam Long ($6,800)
After missing 10/11 cuts, Long finished 20th at Charles Schwab and is coming off a T26 at The Memorial. He’s also been solid here recently, finishing T24 last year and T21 in 2019. Like Steele, he’s more of a tourney play.
Notes & Stuff
Some other players I like, not counting the other obvious highest priced ones: Paul Casey, Harris English, Bubba Watson, Brian Harman, and Doc Redman.
And some for just tourneys: Matthew Wolf, Abraham Ancer, Phil Michelson, Stewart Cink, Ryan Armour and Kevin Tway (who finished top 6 here in two of his last three trips).
I’ve gone back and forth with calling these “tournament picks” or just “picks”. It’s tough (for me at least) predicting ownership for top players. So I’m just going with some of my favorite picks from now on. I’ll mention if it’s a tourney flier or whatever else when needed.
