Fantasy Golf Picks for the Rocket Mortgage Classic | DraftKings PGA

Rocket Mortgage

PGA DraftKings DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) picks for the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic, taking place July 2nd to July 5th at Detroit Golf Club

Welcome or welcome back golf fans, gamblers and whoever else. I’m at it again with PGA DraftKings fantasy picks for the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic. For anyone new, you can see all of my previous picks/columns at the link.

This is only the third year this tournament has been held. Bryson DeChambeau is the defending champ and Nate Lashley won the inaugural event.

If anyone ever has any questions or comments, leave them below. You can also hit me up on Twitter. I’m not a fan of social media, but I’ll always talk fantasy sports.

Rocket Mortgage Classic Top DraftKings Picks

Patrick Reed ($10,900)

Reed has five top-10 finishes and nine top-25’s, over his last thirteen events. That includes a win at the Farmers, 5th at the Memorial, 6th at Wells Fargo and 8th at The Masters. He finished T5 at this event in 2019.

Kevin Kisner ($8,500)

Kisner was really struggling, missing 6/8 cuts before last week’s T5 at The Travelers. He’s made the cut both times at this event, with a 3rd place finish last year. He’s just a tourney pick, due to his play this year.

Value Picks

Doc Redman ($7,900)

Doc struggled at The Travelers but has now made 5 straight cuts. Including a runner-up at Palmetto and T9 at Byron Nelson. He finished T21 here last year and runner-up in 2019.

Alex Noren ($7,600)

Noren had made 6 straight cuts, before missing the Palmetto. Even with that MC, he has four top-25 finishes over his last six events. He’s played here once and missed the cut. As a course history freak, I’m mixing it up.

Notes & Stuff

Some other players I like: Bryson DeChambeau, Joaquin Niemann, Sungjae Im, Charley Hoffman & Pat Perez.

And for just tourneys: Will Zalatoris, Matthew Wolf, Max Homa, Cameron Tringale, Brandt Snedeker & Cameron Davis.

I’ve gone back and forth with calling these “tournament picks” or just “picks”. It’s tough (for me at least) predicting ownership for top players. So I’m just going with some of my favorite picks from now on. I’ll mention if it’s a tourney pick or whatever else when needed.
