Slammiversary 2021 was a really fun show overall with a ton of surprises, a few very good-great matches and a shocking ending!

Mickie James, Chelsea Green and Finjuice all returned. One of the best female wrestlers in the world, Thunder Rosa, debuted. We saw a “Drama King” vignette (seemingly) for Aiden English and “No Way” Jose was also there.

Absolutely incredible start with Ultimate X. It had all kinds of crazy innovative moves, and I thought Rohit trying just about everything to win was hysterical and perfect for his character.

Deonna/Thunder Rosa was very good, wish it had more time tho. Mickie inviting Deonna to NWA Empowerrr is interesting, IMPACT is working with a lot of promotions and the possibilities are endless.

Which is exactly what we saw at the end of show when NJPW NEVER Openweight Champion and Bullet Club leader Jay White appeared after a great main event!

Is he with Omega and The Good Brothers? Is it the start of a Bullet Club war? Then out came…we don’t know! The show went dark too soon or they went with a very creative ending? Either way, that”ll get people talking, and more NJPW on IMPACT is a VERY good thing.

*Grades are more about overall enjoyment than match quality.
