Kevin James plays NFL Coach Sean Payton in Netflix Comedy

Netflix released an official trailer today for their upcoming original comedy film, based on a true story, “Home Team”. Kevin James stars as NFL coach Sean Payton who coaches his son’s 6th grade football team, two years after winning the Super Bowl. This was after the New Orleans Saints coach was suspended for the entire 2012 season, as a result of his role in the Saints’ Bountygate scandal.

The film premieres January 28, 2022 on Netflix. Check out the official trailer and synopsis.

“Home Team” is directed by Charles Francis Kinnane and Daniel Kinnane, written by Keith Blum and Chris Titone. Also starring Taylor Lautner and Rob Schneider.
