DraftKings DFS showdown tournament picks for Sunday (April 4, 2021) night’s NBA game between the Orlando Magic and Denver Nuggets

Welcome all and Happy Easter! I’m right back at it with more NBA DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) DraftKings showdown tourney picks. The (17-32) Magic head to Denver to take on the (30-18) Nuggets at 10PM ET tonight (April 4th) airing on NBA TV. Check out the latest line below and then on to the picks.

Latest line has the Nuggets -14.5 & the Over/Under is 216 points. If I were a betting man, I’d take the Nuggets and the Under.

Orlando Magic at Denver Nuggets NBA DraftKings Showdown Captain Pick

Jamal Murray, Nuggets PG ($9,000)

Murray has been held below 35 DK FPTS just once in his last 10 games. He’s scored over 50 DK FPTS twice over that time and has a good matchup here. The Orlando defense is near last in the league against opposing PG’s.

Utility/Value Picks

Michael Porter Jr., Nuggets SF/PF ($8,200)

Porter Jr. has scored at least 30 DK FPTS in 13 straight games. There was worry that Aaron Gordon’s arrival could affect him, but it hasn’t yet, at least in a negative way. He just had one of his best games of the season against Philly (55 DK FPTS) with Gordon in the lineup.

Chuma Okeke, Magic PF/C ($6,600)

Chuma has played over 30 mins in four of his last five games, averaging 32 DK FFPG over that time. Denver has struggled against opposing PF’s this season. (I won’t like him as much if Otto Porter Jr. returns)

PJ Dozier, Nuggets SG/SF ($2,400)

Dozier is averaging a solid (for his price) 16 DK FPPG this season. He’s seen at least 20 mins in eleven of his last fourteen games, and could see even more here if it’s a blowout.

The Big Fade

Terrance Ross, Magic SG/SF ($7,600)

Ross is the most expensive player on the Magic these days, and rightfully so. But he’s been playing with an ankle injury and has struggled in his last three games. He’s shot 2-12 from three point range and 13-44 overall over that time.

This is a new thing I’m trying out. Simply which of the top priced players I’d consider fading in a tourney.

Disclaimer Thing- I’m no expert, I’m not even a writer. But I enjoy doing these and sometimes I get things right.
