NFL DraftKings showdown tournament picks for Thursday night’s (November 12, 2020) AFC South battle between the (5-3) Indianapolis Colts and (6-2) Tennessee Titans
Welcome all, I’m back again with more NFL DFS DraftKings showdown tournament picks. This time it’s for Thursday (November 12) night’s week 10 Colts at Titans game, airing at 8:15PM ET on FOX, Amazon Prime Video & the NFL Network.
In case I don’t mention this part enough, I make a lot of risky plays, esp at the captain spot. Sometimes it pays off nicely like this Monday night with Jakobi Meyers who had 31.9 DK FPTS, and sometimes it doesn’t.
Latest line has the Titans -1.5, Over/Under is 49 points.
(5-3) Indianapolis Colts at (6-2) Tennessee Titans NFL DraftKings Showdown Captain Pick
Philip Rivers, Colts QB (DK $9,800)
Rivers has been solid but inconsistent this season. He’s averaging 15 DK FPPG with 10 TD’s & 7 INT’s. This week he faces the Titans Defense, one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL giving up 275 yards a game thru the air.
If I were making a riskier captain’s pick, it would be Colts WR Zach Pascal.
Colts at Titans DraftKings Showdown Flex Picks
Derrick Henry, Titans RB (DK $10,800)
Henry has been incredible this season averaging over 100 receiving yards and 20 DK FPPG. He had a rough game against the Bears last week with just 68 yards on 21 carries, no TD’s or catches. This week he’s facing the Colts Defense, who give up just 83 yds per game on the ground. So I’m iffy on this one, but Henry is tough to sit with his upside.
A.J Brown, Titans WR ($10,400)
Since returning in week 5, Brown is averaging 22 DK FPPG. He has 6 TD’s in those 5 games with 2 games over 100 rec yards, one was over 150. The Colts Defense is also great against the pass tho, giving up just 206 yards per game. I’m not expecting a huge game, but I think he’ll have a good enough game and hopefully pick up a TD.
Zach Pascal, Colts WR ($6,400)
Pascal has been solid but nothing special, avg 8 DK FPPG. He’s got 2 TD’s but none since week 6. I think he should have a good game against that weak Titans pass defense, maybe even find the end zone again. T.Y Hilton may return this week, but he could be limited and hasn’t done much all year.
Trey Burton, Colts TE ($5,600)
Burton has 3 TD’s over his last 3 games, with over 50 rec yds in one of them. He’s had a few goal line carries lately and scored on each so that could continue. Plus, this week starting Colts TE Jack Doyle is “very unlikely” to play according to his coach & the Colts other TE Mo Alie-Cox is questionable. The Titans Defense also isn’t very good against TE’s and he’s a bit expensive, but I think that’ll keep his ownership low.
Colts at Titans DraftKings Showdown Value Picks
Rodrigo Blankenship, Colts K ($4,000)
He’s only attempted two FG’s over his last 3 games, which should have his ownership lower than usual here. But from week 2 to week 5, he was averaging over 13 DK FPPG.
Kalif Raymond, Titans WR ($1,000)
He hasn’t done much lately but WR Adam Humphries is likely out which should mean more playing time for Raymond and maybe he does something with it.
Update- Humphries has been ruled out.
Jeremy McNichols, Titans RB ($200)
McNichols had 5 DK FPTS in week 8 and 8 DK FPTS in week 6. Not much to see here, but he could be a decent punt play for just $200.
Notes and stuff
The Colts RB situation scares me, but if I were taking a shot on one here, it would be Jordan Wilkins.
These picks are made early, be sure to check the latest injury reports.
