NFL DraftKings showdown tournament picks for the San Francisco 49ers (4-5) at New Orleans Saints (6-2) game on Sunday, November 15, 2020
Welcome all, I’m back again with more NFL DFS DraftKings showdown tournament picks. This time for the November 15th, San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints week 10 game, airing at 4:25PM ET on FOX.
Latest line has the Saints -9.5, Over/Under is 49 points.
These picks are made ahead of time, so be sure to check the latest injury reports. And for anyone new to these, I make a lot of risky picks. Just to be clear, these are for large DK tournaments, not cash games.
San Francisco 49ers (4-5) at New Orleans Saints (6-2) NFL DraftKings Showdown Captain Pick
Kendrick Bourne, 49ers WR (DK $2,000)
Bourne was removed from the Covid-19 list today and will play this week, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport. In his last game, he had 8 catches for 81 yards on 10 targets for 16 DK FPTS. He should have another good game with top TE George Kittle and WR Deebo Samuel both out again. I also expect the 49ers to be playing from behind & throwing a lot. Saints Defense is good but not great against the pass.
Most importantly, he’s only 2K on DraftKings! Starting him at captain will allow you to really stack the rest of your lineup.
49ers at Saints DraftKings Showdown Flex Picks
Alvin Kamara, Saints RB (DK $12,200)
Kamara had his worst game of the season last week and still put up 15.9 DK FPTS. That was against Tampa Bay’s top rush defense in the league giving up 78 yds per game. This week it gets a bit easier against the 49ers Defense, who give up 106 yds per game on the ground. Plus, the Saints are favored by almost 10 points so they should be playing from ahead and running more than usual.
Drew Brees, Saints QB (DK $11,000)
Brees has thrown for 8 TD’s over his last 3 games and hasn’t thrown an INT since week 5. He’s been incredibly consistent averaging 21 DK FPPG. I’m afraid the Saints go up big early, leading to Brees not having to do as much. But I’ll most likely be starting him due to his high floor, and me having a lot of DK $ with Bourne at captain.
Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers WR ($8,400)
He’s averaging 7 catches, over 100 yards and 22DK FPTS over his last 2 games. One of those was week 8 with Nick Mullens (who will be starting again at QB) when he had 8 catches for 91yds and a TD. I expect him to have another good and maybe great game.
Emmanuel Sanders, Saints WR ($7,000)
Sanders returned from a 3 week absence last week and had 4 catches on 5 targets for 38 yds and a TD. WR Michael Thomas also returned and had 5 catches for 51 yds. But Thomas was limited in practice this week, may not get a full workload, and he’s $3,600 more on DK.
49ers at Saints DraftKings Showdown Value Picks
Taysom Hill, Saints QB ($2,800)
Hill is averaging 12.5 DK FPPG over his last two games, doing a bit of everything. In those games, he had a combined 78 receiving yards (1 rec TD), 89 rushing yards and threw for 48 yards.
Latavius Murray, Saints RB ($2,200)
Murray has had 3 straight games with 6 DK FPTS, averaging 10 rushes per. Again I think the Saints run more than usual this week. And he could always pick up a cheap TD.
JaMycal Hasty, 49ers RB ($1,800)
I liked Hasty a lot last week and he did basically nothing. This week his DK price dropped from $7,200 to $1,800, which seems a bit extreme. RB Jerick McKinnon, who was said to have “tired legs” had 12 carries compared to Hasty’s 4. Saints Defense is great against the rush, 2nd behind only TB. If I’m starting one of these RB’s, it’ll be the much cheaper and probably much lesser owned Hasty.
Notes and stuff
49ers WR Richie James had a monster game last week, 9 catches for 184 and a TD. But that was without Aiyuk and Bourne, who are returning. He’s also a bit expensive for me, and I think his ownership could be kind of high.
I also like Saints K Will Lutz. He only had 1 FG last week, but is avg over 10 DK FPPG.
