NFL DraftKings showdown tournament picks for the Washington Football Team (3-7) at Dallas Cowboys (3-7) Week 12 Thanksgiving day game
Welcome all, this time I’m doing NFL DFS DraftKings showdown tournament picks for the Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving (November 26, 2020) day game, airing at 4:30 PM ET on FOX.
I’ve been doing these for a few weeks now, and it’s going much better than expected. A lot of people read these, or maybe click on it by accident (I’ll take it), I’ve been doing well with my picks and making some money on DK.
I’m not sure any of that is going to hold up, but it’s been fun so far. For anyone interested, you can see all of my previous picks at this link. Alright, check out the line and let’s get to the picks!
Latest line has the Cowboys -3, Over/Under is 46 points. If I were a betting man, I’d take Cowboys and the under.
Washington Football Team (3-7) at Dallas Cowboys (3-7) NFL DraftKings Showdown Tournament Captain Pick
Antonio Gibson, Washington RB (DK $10,200)
Gibson has picked up 5 TD’s over his last 4 games. Including a game against Dallas where he torched them for 128 yards on 20 carries. Cowboys Defense is 2nd to last in the NFL, giving up 154 rushing yards a game.
Usually I don’t pick (likely) highly owned and expensive captains. But I really like both top RB’s Gibson & Elliott here. As for lesser owned captain picks, I like Lamb and both TE’s Schultz and Thomas.
(When I take a captain who I think will be highly owned, I’ll always try to even that out with a player or two I think will have very low ownership)
Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys DraftKings Showdown Tournament Flex Picks
Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys RB ($10,600)
After 3 straight games scoring below 10 DK FPTS, Zeke scored 22.4 last week with Andy Dalton back. His first game this season with over 100 yards rushing and caught his 1st TD pass since week 1. Washington Defense gives up the fewest passing yards in the league, but not so great against the rush, giving up over 120 yards per.
Ceedee Lamb, Cowboys WR ($9,200)
I mentioned above about Washington’s Defense against the pass. So I’m not liking Andy Dalton in this game, but I do like Lamb’s upside with Dalton playing. I also like Amari Cooper but I figure he’ll be higher owned since he’s cheaper and averages more FPPG.
Dalton Schultz, Cowboys TE ($6,200)
Schultz has been really solid this season no matter who his QB is. He’s picked up at least 4 catches in his last 3 games and in 7 out of 10 this season. The Washington Defense is great against the pass but they have given up 6 TD’s this season to opposing TE’s.
Logan Thomas, Washington TE ($5,400)
Thomas is pretty hit or miss, having scored over 10 DK FPTS in 4 games this season and below 3 FPTS in 3 of them. He had a nice game against Dallas in week 7, with 60 rec yards and a TD.
Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys Showdown Tournament Value Picks
Dustin Hopkins, Washington K (DK $3,800)
Hopkins has been playing with a groin injury but he’s scored exactly 10 DK FPTS in his last 3 games. The groin is keeping him questionable, which should have his ownership lower than usual.
Dontrelle Inman, Washington WR (DK $1,400)
Inman is on track to play for the first time since week 6. He was averaging 7 DK PPG and had one game with 2 TD’s. If Inman doesn’t play, I’ll take a shot with WR Isaiah Wright at 1K.
Cedrick Wilson, Cowboys WR ($400)
Wilson hasn’t had multiple catches since week 5 and now he’s facing the top pass defense. So there’s not much to like here, other than the price. He did have a 2 TD game for over 100 yards earlier in the year. That probably won’t happen here, but maybe?
