Back again with more NFL DraftKings showdown tournament picks. This time it’s the (7-4) Indianapolis Colts and (4-7) Houston Texans week 13 game airing Sunday, December 6 at 1PM ET on NBC. Check out the latest line below and onto the picks.
Latest line has the Colts -3.5, Over/Under is 51 points. If I were a betting man, I’d take the Colts and the under.
Indianapolis Colts (7-4) at Houston Texans (4-7) NFL DFS DraftKings Showdown Tournament Captain Pick
Michael Pittman Jr, Colts WR (DK $8,000)
Pittman is coming off a bad game where he had just 2 catches, but did get 9 targets. He was averaging 15 DK FPPG over his previous 3 tho and gets a good matchup this week against a Texans Defense who are 3rd to last in the NFL, giving up 410 total yards to opposing teams.
Some other (not very highly owned) options I like at captain are Texans WR Keke Coutee and IND RB Nyheim Hines.

Deshaun Watson, Texans QB (DK $11,800)
Watston will be very highly owned and facing a great defense this week. Usually I’d try to dodge that but I don’t think I’m fading him at that price. He’s only $800 more than Phillip Rivers who has a bad toe and a lot less upside. So I’ll take the chalk here. There’s a few low priced players I like so I’ll easily be able to afford Watson.
Nyheim Hines, Colts RB ($8,200)
The Texans Defense is 2nd to last in the NFL against the rush, giving up 154 yards per game. He could see more playing time again if RB Jonathon Taylor, who missed last game after being placed on the COVID list, is out (he’s off the list at the moment, but who knows with all that). I also like RB Jordan Wilkins but Hines has more upside due to his pass catching abilities.
Keke Coutee, Texans WR ($6,200)
Coutee should be the #2 WR behind Brandin Cooks this week with Will Fuller & Randall Cobb out. I’m expecting Cooks to be very highly owned, he’s expensive and the Colts Defense might focus on him. So I’ll go with Keke instead.
Jacoby Brissett, Colts QB ($6,000)
Brissett has been getting goal line carries and picked up 3 TD’s over the last 3 games. He’s worth a look just based on just that. Plus, top QB Philip Rivers is questionable but very likely to play. He does have a toe injury tho so Brissett could be called upon if that acts up, or something.

Mo Alie-Cox, Colts TE ($600)
Mo has caught at least 2 passes in each of his last 5 games. TE Trey Burton has been getting more red zone looks and scoring TD’s but maybe this week Alie-Cox picks one up. Worth a shot at $600.
Isaiah Coulter, Texans WR ($200)
Coulter is set to make his NFL debut this week as the #3 WR, unless something changes. As long he’s playing he’s def worth a look at the DK minimum of $200.
