NFL DraftKings showdown tournament picks for the Kansas City Chiefs (8-1) at Las Vegas Raiders (6-3) Week 11 Sunday night football game
Welcome all, I’m back again with more NFL DFS DraftKings showdown tournament picks. This time for the Chiefs at Raiders week 11 Sunday night football game on November 22nd, airing at 8:20PM ET on NBC.
Latest line has the Chiefs -8, Over/Under is 57 points. If I were a betting man, I’d take the Chiefs and the under.
Kansas City Chiefs (8-1) at Las Vegas Raiders (6-3) NFL DraftKings Showdown Tournament Captain Pick
Darren Waller, Raiders TE (DK $7,000)
Waller is averaging 14 DK FPPG this year, but only 9 PPG over his last 3 games. His price this week is the lowest it’s been all year on DK. The Raiders will likely be playing from behind and throwing a lot, which could lead to Waller having a good or even great game.
Some other (not so highly owned) options I like at captain are KC RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire and LV QB David Carr.
Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders NFL DraftKings Showdown Flex Picks
Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs QB (DK $13,400)
Over his last 2 games, Mahomes has thrown for 9 TD’s, 0 INT’s, avg 37 DK FPPG. He’s only avg 16 FPPG over his last 2 away games tho. (Not sure how much that matters with no fans and all that?) More importantly, I think the Chiefs go up early and win big, so he won’t need to put up huge numbers. I did think the same against the Jets and he put up 40. So if I can easily afford him, I’ll start him. But I won’t go out of my way at that price.
Tyreek Hill, Chiefs WR ($11,000) or Travis Kelce, Chiefs TE ($10,600)
Hill is avg 19.8 DK FPPG and Kelce 19.9. Both have been incredible lately with Kelce going for over 100 yards in back to back games. Hill has scored 5 TD’s over his last 3. I’ll be starting one but it’s a tough call. I’m leaning towards Kelce, only cause I think his ownership will be a bit lower.
Derek Carr, Raiders QB ($9,800)
Carr hasn’t scored over 15 DK FPTS since week 7. But he’s scored over 20 in 3 out of 4 home games this year (maybe it does still matter?). His best game this season was against KC where he put up 347 yards with 3 TD’s and 1 INT.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs RB ($8,200)
CEH picked up 2 TD’s over his last 3 but he hasn’t done much else lately. He also missed practice all week with an illness, so I think his ownership could be low. He’s got a pretty high floor due to his pass catching (only 1 game this year under 10 DK FPTS). And could get a nice amount of touches if the Chiefs play from ahead.
Nelson Agholor, Raiders WR ($6,200)
Agholor has been really hit or miss lately. He scored just 1.8 DK FPTS in week 8 & 10 combined. But in weeks 7 & 9, he scored 38.2 FPTS. He’s only been over 60 yards twice this year, but he’s got 5 TD’s in 10 games. He also seems to like odd numbered weeks, he scored a TD in week 1, 5, 7 and 9…and here we are at week 11.
Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders DraftKings Value Picks
Demarcus Robinson, Chiefs WR (DK $4,400)
WR Sammy Watkins has been out since week 5 and recently picked up another injury in practice, so he could be out again. Since Watkins went down, Robinson has scored over 11 DK FPTS in 3 out of 4 weeks.
Davontae Booker, Raiders RB ($2,200)
Booker is avg 17 DK FPPG with 3 TD’s over his last 2. Last week he had 16 rushes, but the Raiders were playing from ahead and that likely won’t be the case here. RB Jalen Richard is questionable, Booker is cheap and the Chiefs are bottom 5 in the NFL against the rush. I think RB Josh Jacobs is too expensive at $9,600 in a game where the Raiders will likely be playing from behind.
La’Veon Bell, Chiefs RB ($1,400)
Bell hasn’t done much as a Chief in 3 games, last week was his worst yet with 6 carries for 7 yards and 1 catch for -5. Again with the Chiefs likely playing from ahead, he could get more touches. Also, maybe there’s a chance CEH doesn’t play a lot due to that illness? I don’t know, but maybe worth a shot at $1,400.
Bryan Edwards, Raiders WR ($1,200)
Edwards returned two weeks ago after being injured most of the year. He didn’t do anything in that game, but last week he had 1 catch for 16 yards and played almost 30% of the snaps. Maybe this week he gets even more snaps. Either way, I think he could get some opportunities here.
Notes & Stuff
I mentioned additional captain’s picks that I liked this week, and I’ll be doing more of that. These are about showdowns, so it makes sense, I figure. These picks are made early and sometimes a lot can change fast. Like with the latest Thursday night game that had a ton of questionable players when I wrote it up.
I played two lineups, one just missed cashing and the other finished 270 out of 9,500 players. (Isabella almost had a TD a few minutes after that tweet below).
If anyone ever has any questions, topics or just want to chat about some fantasy sports. Feel free to leave a comment below, also I have a new Twitter account just for that kind of thing- @JaySin_DPW.
That’s it for now, best of luck out there and see you on the next edition of…
