Official HD Trailer for IFC Midnight Finnish Horror Film “Hatching”

IFC Films released an official trailer for the upcoming Finnish horror “Hatching”. The film was directed by Hanna Bergholm, starring Jani Volanen, Reino Nordin, Saija Lentonen, Siiri Solalinna and Sophia Heikkilä.

The film centers on Tinja, a 12-year-old gymnast desperate to please her mother, a woman obsessed with presenting the image of a perfect family to the world through her popular blog. One day Tinja finds a mysterious egg, which she chooses to take home. Once it hatches she names the creature Alli and cares for it as it grows into a doppelgänger that acts upon Tinja’s repressed emotions.
