PGA DFS Draftkings Tournament picks for the 2021 Farmers Insurance Open taking place January 28th thru 31st in San Diego, California
Welcome all, I’m back again and this time it’s DFS DraftKings picks for the 2021 PGA Farmers Insurance Open. Once again, I had a pretty good week with my picks for the 2021 American Express. Four out of five made the cut with 3 in the top 12. Abraham Ancer finished T5, Brian Harman T8 and Sungjae Im T12.
Moving on to the Farmers, last year’s winner was Marc Leishman while Justin Rose won the event in 2019. Two-time winners are Jason Day (2015 & 2018) and Brad Snedeker (2012 & 2016). Phil Mickelson is a 3 time winner (latest coming in 2001) and Tiger Woods won the event an incredible 7 times, but won’t be playing this week.
PGA 2021 Farmers Insurance Open DFS DraftKings Top Picks
Patrick Reed (DK $10,100)
Reed missed the cut at the American Express. But he was rolling before that with a 21st at Sentry, 10th at The Masters, 14th at Zozo, 3rd at BMW and 13th at the US Open. He’s finished top 23 here in each of the last 3 years, with a 6th place finish in 2020.
Billy Horschel (DK $8,200)
Horschel had a great end to 2020, finishing 5th at Mayakoba. And he’s kept it going so far in 2021 with two top 25 finishes, including a 7th at the Sony Open. He’s made the cut in each of his past 5 trips here, with 8th place finishes in both 2019 & 2016.
Charles Howell III ($7,500)
Howell is another who missed the cut at the American Express. Before that he made 6/7 cuts, with four top 30 finishes. He’s finished top 20 here in his last 4 trips (T20-T6-T2-T16).
PGA 2021 Farmers Insurance Open DraftKings Value Picks
Brandt Snedeker ($7,000)
Brandt has only made 4/9 cuts this season and he’s missed the first two in 2021. But he’s been incredible at this event. Since 2010, he’s won twice and finished T2 twice (2010 & 2013). He also finished T3 here last year, T9 in 2017 and T19 in 2015.
Patrick Rodgers ($6,800)
Rodgers is yet another who missed the cut at the American Express. He’s only made 3 cuts in his last 8 events, but 2 of those were top 20 finishes. He has two top 10 finishes (T9 last year & T4 in 2017) in his last 4 trips here.
Polls & Notes & Stuff

I had Jon Rahm as my top pick originally, his last 3 tourney finishes have been 7th at Sentry, 7th at the Masters & 2nd at Zozo. He’s also been amazing here with three top 5 finishes in four years, including a win in 2017 and T2 last year. But he suffered some kind of injury working out and withdrew from the American Express last week. Maybe it’s nothing, but it’s enough to scare me off. Especially since he’s the most expensive player in the field this week.
That’s it for now, good luck out there and see on the next edition of…
