PGA DraftKings DFS picks for the 2021 Valero Texas Open, taking place April 1-4 at TPC San Antonio AT&T Oaks Course
What’s up everybody, I hope you all had a great weekend. I’m back at it with DraftKings DFS picks for the PGA 2021 Valero Texas Open. The event was canceled last year, Corey Connors won in 2019, Andrew Landry in 2018 and Kevin Chappell in 2017. Zach Johnson is a two-time winner, he won back-to-back in 2008 & 2009.
PGA 2021 Valero Texas Open Top DraftKings Picks
Ryan Palmer ($9,400)
Palmer already has three top 5’s this season and recently had a 17th place finish at The Players. He lost in a playoff to Jon Rahm (my top pick) in the group stage last week at the WGC Dell Tech Match Play. He’s missed the cut here in each of his last two trips, but finished T6 in both 2015 & 2017 and T4 in 2016.
Zach Johnson ($8,500)
Zach has been awesome here with those two wins, plus a solo 5th place finish in 2018 and T6 in 2014. He hasn’t missed a cut all season and he’s coming off his third top 10, after finishing 8th at the Honda Classic.
Branden Grace ($7,800)
Grace has made four of his last five cuts, including a win at the Puerto Rico Open. He finished T9 here in 2016 and T10 in 2017.
Kevin Chappell ($6,900)
Chappell only has two top 50 finishes in 8 events this season. But he’s coming off his best finish, 13th at the Honda Classic and he’s also been really good here. I mentioned his win above, plus he finished runner-up in 2011 and T4 in 2016.
Disclaimer Thing- I’m no expert, I’m not even a writer. But I enjoy doing these and sometimes I get things right.
