PGA DFS DraftKings picks for the 2021 WGC Workday Championship at The Concession taking place February 25th thru 28th in Bradenton, Florida
Welcome all, I’m at it again with more DFS picks for the PGA 2021 WGC (World Golf Championships) Workday Championship at The Concession. For anyone new, I’m no expert, I’m not even a writer. But I enjoy doing these and sometimes I don’t look like a total idiot.
This event is normally played in Mexico but was moved to Florida this year due to the pandemic. There is no cut at this event and there’s not much course history out there.
Last year’s winner was Patrick Reed while Dustin Johnson won this tournament in 2019 and 2017. Phil Mickelson beat Justin Thomas in a playoff in 2018.
WGC Workday Championship at The Concession Top DFS DraftKings Picks
Patrick Cantlay (DK $10,000)
Cantlay finished 15th at Genesis last week, his fourth straight top 15 finish. He’s also finished in the top 20 6th straight times, including a win (Zozo), a 2nd place (Amex) and a 3rd place (Pro-Am).
Tommy Fleetwood ($8,900)
Fleetwood has played 3 events in 2021, he finished 7th at Abu Dhabi HSBC, 17th at Abu Dhabi Desert and 26th at the Saudi Invitational. He’s finished top 20 at this event in 4 straight years, including a 2nd place finish. It’s a diff course this time, so that probably doesn’t mean much, but who knows.
Scottie Scheffler ($8,300)
Scheffler has back-to-back top 20 finishes and four in his last 6 events. Including 19th at The Masters and 7th at Waste Management Open. He also missed two cuts (this is a no-cut event) in January which could keep his ownership down.
WGC Workday Championship at The Concession DraftKings DFS Value Picks
Ryan Palmer ($7,200)
Palmer has finished top 5 in three out of his last five events. Including a 2nd place finish at the Farmers Insurance Open a few weeks back.
Brendon Todd ($6,400)
Todd recently missed the cut at the Genesis Open. Before that, he finished top 25 in three out of four events. Worth a shot at the near minimum salary.
