PGA DFS Draftkings Tournament picks for the American Express 2021 taking place January 21st thru 24th in La Quinta, California
Welcome all, I’m back again and this time it’s DFS DraftKings picks for the 2021 PGA American Express. Last year’s winner was Andrew Landry, Adam Long won the event in 2019 and John Rahm in 2018. Bill Hass (2010 & 2015) and Phil Mickelson (2002 & 2004) are recent two-time winners.
I had a really good week with my picks for the Sony Open. All five made the cut with 3 in the top 20. Webb Simpson finished 4th, Peter Malnati 14th and a 19th place finish for Charles Howell III. Hopefully my luck continues here…
The American Express 2021 DraftKings Top Picks
Sungjae Im (DK $9,900)
In his last 4 events, Im finished 2nd at The Masters, missed the cut at the RSM Classic, 5th at Sentry and 56th at last week’s Sony Open. I’m hoping he keeps that streak going of doing really well in every other tournament. Also, he’s finished T10 & T12 at this event in the last two years.
Abraham Ancer ($9,100)
Ancer missed the cut at the Sony Open but he was rolling before that with 3 straight top 20 finishes, including a 13th at The Masters. He also finished 4th at Shriners in October. Last year, he finished 2nd here and T18 in 2019.
Brian Harman ($8,100)
Harman finished 56th at the Sony Open and that was just the 2nd time in 7 tourneys he finished worse than 30th place. He has 4 top 25 finishes over the past 5 years here, including a T3 place finish in 2017.
The American Express 2021 DK Value Picks
Lucas Glover ($7,500)
Glover finished 17th at the US Open, then missed 3 cuts but finished the year strong with a 23rd at the RSM Classic and 5th at Mayakoba. He’s finished in the top 20 here 3 times over the past 6 years.
Andrew Landry ($7,000)
Not only is he the defending champion, Landry also finished 2nd here in 2018, losing in a playoff to Jon Rahm. He missed the cut at the Sony Open but had a 4th place at the RSM Classic in November.
That’s it for now, good luck out there and see on the next edition of…
