Draftkings Tournament picks for the 2020 PGA Vivint Houston Open at Memorial Park, which begins Thursday, November 5
This week is the Vivint Houston Open and normally I like to rely on course history a lot, maybe too much. But this Memorial Park is a new course for the PGA Tournament. I did learn that it will have five Par 5’s & five Par 3’s, so that’s pretty interesting.
PGA DraftKings 2020 Vivint Houston Open Tournament Picks
Tony Finau (DK $10,900)
Finau finished 8th at the U.S Open and returned with an 11th after time off due to a positive COVID-19 test. He should do really well with all of those par 5’s.
Hideki Matsuyama ($10,000)
His best finish over the last 3 weeks was 21st at the CJ Cup and he missed the cut at Shriners. He’s also expensive, so I figure his ownership will be low. And this year, he finished T10 in par 5 scoring average.
Zach Johnson ($8,600)
He’s been playing well recently, Zach finished 6th at the U.S Open and 7th at the Wyndham Championship in August. 19th at Shriners and 23rd at Sanderson Farms. He’s made 8 out of his last 9 cuts.
Brian Harman ($8,500)
Harman’s made his last 10 cuts with 3 top 15’s, Including a 13th finish at Shriners last month.
Shane Lowry ($8,200)
Lowry has made 3 of his last 4 cuts with a 13th at the BMW Championship. His ownership should be low and he does well on par 5’s.
James Hahn ($8,000)
He’s just been incredible lately. In his last 3, he finished 5th at Shriners, 6th at Corales Puntacana & 9th at Safeway.
Lee Westwood ($7,800)
Lee finished 13th at the U.S Open. He’s recently been playing the European tour where he has 5 top 20 finishes in his last 6 starts.
John Huh ($6,300)
He’s made 6 out of his last 7 cuts including a 19th place finish at Shriners.
