PGA DraftKings DFS picks for the 2021 “The Honda Classic”, taking place March 18-21 at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Florida
Welcome all, I hope you’re having a great day. I’m back at it with DraftKings DFS picks for the PGA 2021 “The Honda Classic”. Last year’s winner was Sungjae Im, Keith Mitchell won in 2019, Justin Thomas in 2018 and Ricky Fowler in 2017. And a bunch of others won before that, now let’s get to it!
PGA 2021 The Honda Classic Top DraftKings DFS Picks
Daniel Berger (DK $10,800)
Berger has finished top 10 in four out of six tournaments in 2021, including a win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He finished runner-up here in 2015 after a playoff and T4 last year.
Late update- NBC Sports Edge (fka Rotoworld) reports “Daniel Berger has been fighting through a rib injury recently but hopes to still be able to peg it this week, a home game at The Honda Classic.
Well that’s a bit scary, he did play thru it last week for a T9 finish tho. It should lower his ownership, but he also could withdraw anytime before or during the tournament.
I’ll be switching over to Russell Henley (9,800) for most of my lineups. (I usually play 3-5)
Brendan Steele ($8,700)
Steele has made seven straight cuts, including three top 25’s and a 4th place finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Like Berger, he also finished T4 here last year. Plus, T14 in both 2016 & 2017 and T11 in 2015.
For any straight up gamblers out there, my 2nd pick like Steele here, is usually who’d I’d bet on to win the tournament.
Value Picks
Wyndham Clark ($8,000)
Clark has missed back-to-back cuts. But he made five straight before that, including an 8th place finish at The Genesis Invitational. He finished T11 here last year and T7 in 2019.
Patrick Rodgers ($7,000)
Rodgers has made four straight cuts, including a 12th place finish at the Genesis Invitational. He finished in the top 35 here in each of his last three trips.
Disclaimer Thing- I’m no expert, I’m not even a writer. But I enjoy doing these and sometimes I get things right.
