Showtime Announces Cast for New Dexter Limited Series


Showtime recently announced new cast members for the upcoming Dexter series which begins production next month

LOS ANGELES –January 11, 2021 SHOWTIME has announced additions to the cast for the new 10-episode DEXTER limited series. Joining the previously announced Michael C. Hall and Clancy Brown are Julia Jones (The Mandalorian), Alano Miller (Sylvie’s Love), Johnny Sequoyah (Believe), and Jack Alcott (THE GOOD LORD BIRD). Production will begin in early 2021 in Massachusetts. 


Jones will play Angela Bishop, the first Native American Chief of Police in her town in upstate New York. Jones’ previous television work includes Westworld, The Mandalorian and Goliath, along with such film credits as Cold Pursuit and Wind River.   

Sequoyah plays Audrey, the brash and opinionated teenage daughter of Angela Bishop. First known for her role in the television series Believe, Sequoyah has also appeared in the feature films The Enchanted Stallion, Plastic Jesus, I Believe in Unicorns and Ass Backwards. She was also cast in Wind Walkers and was the lead in Among Ravens, both directed by her father Russell Friedenberg and produced by her mother Heather Rae.  

Miller will play Logan, a sergeant for the Iron Lake Police Department and the assistant wrestling coach for the local high school. Miller can now be seen in Sylvie’s Love and has also starred in Ava DuVernay’s Cherish The Day.

Alcott will be playing Randall, with whom Dexter (Michael C. Hall) has a meaningful encounter. Alcott was most recently seen in the acclaimed SHOWTIME limited series THE GOOD LORD BIRD. His other credits include The Black List, Champaign IIIBlue Glass Heaven and Transmission Revolution.

Showtime Announces Cast for New Dexter Limited Series. DiscussPW Entertainment * There have been major changes to our events calendar due to the coronavirus pandemic. We started this calendar in 2018 with pro wrestling events, then added some other live sports and entertainment events. The goals were to help sell live tickets for all kinds of events and help fans finds events and tickets easier. Then the virus happened and live events stopped for a while, so we had to change things up. We’ve since added and will continue to add, many televised events. Such as upcoming guests on morning, daytime and late night television shows. As well as listings and promos and more for many diff tv shows. You can find all of those and much more on our calendar. Recently live events have started happening again, and we’ve gone back to adding those. Most live events have ticket links, venue information, dates and times. But some events have more, and some have a lot more and are basically event previews. It depends on the information available at the time we post the event and if we are able to update that event, etc. Some days have one to three events and some have over twenty on the same day. So you may have to click the link at the bottom to see more on certain days.
