It was announced today that Tom Hannifan (aka Tom Phillips) has joined the commentary team at IMPACT Wrestling. He will be the new play-by-play by taking over for Matt Striker and previously Josh Matthews starting at tonight’s Hard to Kill event!
Tom Hannifan has worked for WWE and served as play-by-play commentator on Raw, SmackDown, NXT, 205 Live and NXT UK! He actually worked alongside “The Drama King” as you can see in the featured picture. The announcement came from Renee Paquette, who has the first interview with Tom coming up this Tuesday.
Tonight is “Hard to Kill” at 8PM ET on PPV, the preshow will air on YouYube at 7:30PM. We have the latest updated card below.
