WrestleCon Announces IMPACT & NJPW 2022 Live Events

WrestleCon has started making announcements for their 2022 events and they had two huge ones today. Both NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) and IMPACT Wrestling will have their own live events this year. The promotions have been working together and will soon be on the same network, AXS TV. So pretty much anything is possible when they’re having two shows at diff times at the same venue.

I could definitely see some IMPACT vs NJPW matches, crossovers with the shows, who knows. Unless of course, IMPACT is going to do a straight up IMPACT vs ROH show at this year’s WrestleCon. After the ROH Invasion during IMPACT’s “Hard to Kill”, I think that is most likely, we’ll see tho.

Both of the NJPW and IMPACT event will take place Friday, April 1st. The NJPW show starts at 5PM CT with the IMPACT show at 9PM. As noted in the tweet below, these events will not be part of the SuperFan ticket. Information on tickets and much more will be coming soon.

The 2022 WrestleCon events will take place in Dallas, Texas. With next year’s already set for Los Angeles.

Be sure to follow WrestleCon for the latest.

DiscussPW is a mix of Pro Wrestling and Entertainment. The site was started in 2017 and has gone thru many changes over the years. Our main focus was events and tickets, but then the pandemic happened. We had to mix things up and will now be doing a lot more news. Events will still be covered, just as news instead of on a calendar. This site had an extensive events calendar, which we have moved away from. Pro wrestling has always been our main thing, we also do a lot of entertainment though. For example, we post movie trailers, tv previews and other kinds of news. We have a few discussions but strongly encourage comments on all of our posts. Be sure to keep things civil while commenting. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us above.
