1. Seth Rollins vs. Edge – SummerSlam 2021
Around summer, the rivalry began with Seth Rollins and Edge at Money In The Bank. Edge was close to d beating Roman Reigns and becoming the new Universal Champion until Seth Rollins interfered and coasts Edge the championship. After that, we used a great rivalry, and quite frankly, the feud between Edge and Seth Rollins will go down as one of the favorite rivalries in the last ten years. Not only this match, ut they had a killer match on Friday Night SmackDown and also a clinic at Crown Jewel, as that match is on this list. When I look back at great matches that took place at SummerSlam, this match will defiantly be high on the list. Both men told an outstanding story, and the fans were invested by the start of their coming out via their entrance.
2. Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes – WrestleMania 38
Yes, I know this match recently just happened, and yes, I know others think their WrestleMania Backlash was better than their WrestleMania 38 match. That’s fine, but I’m going with their WrestleMania 38 match as I enjoyed that one just a bit more than their WrestleMania Backlash rematch. The story has been written well. When this rivalry ends, they will battle for a third time at Hell In A Cell as they will be inside Hell In A Cell. Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes have fantastic chemistry, and when they battle again, it has the potential to be their best match out of the series. Cody Rhodes hasn’t missed since returning to WWE. The match had the atmosphere and stage to showcase why they are the best at what they do.
3. Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena – Royal Rumble 2015
Perhaps one of the best triple threat matches WWE has ever put on. All three men have amazing chemistry, as around this time, Seth Rollins was WWE’s new pet project. All three men tore it down in Philadelphia that night, and when it was all said and done, Seth Rollins won because he held his own against two legendary superstars, John Cena and Brock Lesnar. I had a great time watching this match as it still holds up to being a show-steller.
4. Seth Rollins vs. Edge – Crown Jewel 2021
Thank you, Edge and Seth Rollins, for giving us a memorable Hell In A Cell match, a stipulation that has lost its appeal throughout the years because of the terrible booking from WWE. They did it right with this feud and this match, hands down. Many people think that their Crown Jewel match was better than their SummerSlam match, and I can see that, but I stand my ground and go with their SummerSlam match being better. They didn’t do anything new; they did use the surrounding structure to use to their advantage, but sadly we didn’t see any blood with sucks, but I still enjoyed the match.
5. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena – SummerSlam 2015
Seth Rollins was shining in 2015 as it was his year. He was doing amazing as a heel as he was ”protected” in the storyline by The Authority. Seth Rollins was the reigning WWE Champion, and John Cena was the United States Champion heading into SummerSlam. Now yes, we saw interference, and to some, that takes away from the match but don’t have that be the sole reason you dislike this match. After this match, it catapulted Seth Rollins into superstardom. John Cena sees the future of WWE in Seth Rollins, and he did the right thing, and for that, props to John Cena.
6. Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles – Money In The Bank 2019
When we saw AJ Styles step into the ring with Seth Rollins, I said to myself ”finally.” Because this has been one of the dream matches I wanted to see involving AJ Styles in WWE. We’d have to wait many years before we could even get the match, but when we finally got it, they didn’t disappoint. This match got lost in the shuffle, but they delivered, and we saw one of the greatest counters to a move in WWE history. As we saw Seth Rollins attempt a Curb Stomp, we saw AJ Styles reverse that into a Styles Clash for a close two count. They had all of us on the edge of our seats…
7. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. The Miz – WrestleMania 34
The opening to WrestleMania is important, and WWE gave us a banger as that is a tough task. WWE gave The Intercontinental Championship the spotlight at a WrestleMania; all three men put on a terrific title match at WrestleMania 34. Seth Rollins picked up a big win and went on an excellent babyface run as Intercontinental Champion.
8. Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre – Money In The Bank 2020
2020 for WWE was weird. But 2020 offered us another excellent match, and once again, it involved Seth Rollins as he went one v one against Drew McIntyre, who was The WWE Champion at the time. When you think of Money In The Bank, besides the ladder matches, this event has given us excellent matches to remember, and this match is one of them. I enjoyed this match from start to finish. Both men have fantastic chemistry, and I wouldn’t mind seeing them run it back for a second time.
9. Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro – WrestleMania 36
Seth Rollins delivers when it counts the most. He and Cesaro are real friends outside of the square circle, so it was great to see WWE give Cesaro a singles match at WrestleMania, and most importantly, they gave him Seth Rollins, his best friend, at WrestleMania 36. When it’s all said and done, this will be an underrated banger at a WrestleMania. Another clinic by Seth Rollins, he delivers when it counts the most.
10. Seth Rollins vs. Triple H – WrestleMania 33
Nobody, for some reason, talks about this match when talking about some of the best matches from Seth Rollins. I’m fully aware that this match was a bit too long, yes. The thing is, it was good, and I enjoyed it just like everybody else. The feud between these two was good, and Triple H put on a good performance against Seth Rollins, adding Stephanie to take a table spot added to the match and making it even better.
When it’s all said and done. Seth Rollins tells stories and performs outstanding performances; he’s one of the best wrestlers on the planet. He deserves his flowers. To me, he’s on the level of Shawn Micheals and AJ Styles when talking pure wrestling ability in my humble opinion.
