48 HOURS and contributor Jonathan Vigliotti investigate the disappearance of a young California mother and wife, and the case against her husband, in “Searching for Maya Millete”

How can a young mother of three simply vanish? Larry Millete maintains that his wife left on her own and started a life somewhere else – a claim Maya Millete’s s friends strongly refute.

“Maya loved her kids There’s no way she would have up and left,” says friend Claudia Julao.

“48 Hours” “Searching for Maya Millete”

In the early morning hours of Feb. 15, 2020, Los Angeles police officers responding to a call for a “woman screaming” found Harwick, 38, lying on the ground battered and unresponsive beneath the third-floor balcony of her Hollywood Hills home. Harwick later died from blunt-force injuries. The medical examiner also found evidence of strangulation. A trail of evidence led investigators to Harwick’s ex-boyfriend, photographer Gareth Pursehouse. Pursehouse was arrested and charged with murder. He has pleaded not guilty.

“He went on the internet, found a website that does witchcraft, casts spells,” says Billy Little, an attorney and former criminal defense investigator for the Navy who helped Maya Millete’s family early in the search.

“There are people on the internet that’ll sell you for five bucks, you know, how to make a spell that will get her to be attracted to you … to bind your marriage in blood,” says Little.

48 HOURS and Vigliotti report the latest in the case through interviews with family and friends and the continuing search to find her.

“I want her to be found,” says Maricris Drouaillet, Maya Millete’s sister. “I want to bring her home to her kids, to our families.”

DiscussPW is a mix of Pro Wrestling and Entertainment. The site was started in 2016 and has gone through many changes over the years. Our main focus was events and tickets, but then the pandemic happened. We had to mix things up and will now be doing a lot more news. Events will still be covered, just as news instead of on a calendar. This site had an extensive events calendar, which we have moved away from. Pro wrestling has always been our main thing, we also do a lot of entertainment though. For example, we post movie trailers, tv previews and other kinds of news. We have a few discussions but strongly encourage comments on all of our posts. Be sure to keep things civil while commenting. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us above.
