Tonight Saturday (November 12 2022) “48 Hours”  Investigates in “The ‘Unsolvable’ Murder of Roxanne Wood”

Tonight, The November 12 edition of “CBS 48 Hours” airs at 10PM ET/PT on CBS. You can watch previous episodes at CBS and ParamountPlus.

In February 1987, Terry Wood came home from a night of bowling to discover his wife, Roxanne, dead on the kitchen floor in their home in Niles, Mich. Detectives say Roxanne Wood had been sexually assaulted and her throat slashed. DNA was preserved from the crime scene, but given technological limitations of the time, there wasn’t enough evidence to charge any suspects. The case went cold. Then, 34 years later, investigative genetic genealogist Gabriella Vargas got to work on what had been deemed unsolvable by many because of the scant amount of DNA that was left. 48 HOURS correspondent Peter Van Sant reports on how the incredible work of Vargas, an undercover cop, and a cigarette butt led investigators to their killer in “The ‘Unsolvable’ Murder of Roxanne Wood,”

DiscussPW is a mix of Pro Wrestling and Entertainment. The site was started in 2016 and has gone through many changes over the years. Our main focus was events and tickets, but then the pandemic happened. We had to mix things up and will now be doing a lot more news. Events will still be covered, just as news instead of on a calendar. This site had an extensive events calendar, which we have moved away from. Pro wrestling has always been our main thing, we also do a lot of entertainment though. For example, we post movie trailers, tv previews and other kinds of news. We have a few discussions but strongly encourage comments on alqql of our posts. Be sure to keep things civil while commenting. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us above.
