Former WWE Star debuts at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door

During the Forbidden Door PPV that aired tonight 6/26/22, Claudio Castagnoli (Cesaro in WWE) made his debut facing Zack Sabre Jr. Castagnoli was Danielsons hand picked opponent for Sabre Jr due to him not being able to participate in the match because of an injury.

This match at Forbidden Door is Claudio Castagnoli’s first match outisde of WWE since starting with the company in 2011. Outside of WWE Claudio made the rounds on the Independent scene including ROH, PWG, CZW, Chikara and many more.

This is great news for AEW fans.
