Redden, who pleaded guilty to attempted battery with substantial bodily harm, caused chaos in the courtroom. Video footage, widely shared on social media, captures the violent incident, with Redden seen jumping over the bench, causing items to fall, and three individuals attempting to restrain him amid background cursing.
The altercation left Judge Holthus, 62, injured, with her condition under observation, as per a statement from the Eighth Judicial District Court. Additionally, a court marshal sustained injuries and was hospitalized, reportedly in stable condition.
