Biography: WWE Legends Tonight “Dusty Rhodes”

Growing-up in East Austin, Texas, Virgil Riley Runnels Jr. always had an outsized vision of the possibilities for himself. An innate ability to navigate loss and create opportunity set him on a path to discovering–or actually becoming–The American Dream. He was one of the most relatable and charismatic wrestlers ever; his rivalry with Ric Flair set the path for an entire industry; and he created many of events still happening today including War Games, Starrcade and The Great American Bash.

Under the award-winning “Biography” banner, each episode tells the intimate, personal stories behind the success of some of WWE’s most memorable Legends and events. Through rare archival footage and in-depth interviews, each episode explores a different Legend and their immense impact in the WWE universe and on pop culture. Legends featured this season include The Undertaker, Goldberg, The Bella Twins, Lex Luger, Edge, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, D-Generation X and a look at the iconic first-ever WrestleMania.

DiscussPW is a mix of Pro Wrestling and Entertainment. The site was started in 2016 and has gone through many changes over the years. Our main focus was events and tickets, but then the pandemic happened. We had to mix things up and will now be doing a lot more news. Events will still be covered, just as news instead of on a calendar. This site had an extensive events calendar, which we have moved away from. Pro wrestling has always been our main thing, we also do a lot of entertainment though. For example, we post movie trailers, tv previews and other kinds of news. We have a few discussions but strongly encourage comments on all of our posts. Be sure to keep things civil while commenting. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us above.
