The 2023 Royal Rumble Winners Should Be

Hello everybody. It’s Jordan Turner back again with another opinion piece. I understand that Royal Rumble isn’t until 2023 in January, and we are about to end the month of November and begin December. But listen, that doesn’t mean that we can’t talk about it, and honestly, November and especially December should be a month where the management team writes the two winners in pen. The 2023 Royal Rumble event will be a turning point for Triple H because he needs to get the two winners correct. The question is, will he? I want to break down some possible winners and people who have a real shot at winning. Then I will go over the two winners who should win when the event comes around in January. Enjoy today’s newest article.

SAMI ZAYN – The Men’s Rumble Winner

Sami Zayn is a name that is being tossed around as a possible winner for the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Now the question is, why are people bringing him up? It’s because of the storyline that he’s currently in with Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa. The eventual turn is coming soon and it will be emotional on all levels when it happens. The rumors state that Sami Zayn versus (C) Roman Reigns is scheduled at Elimination Chamber in Montreal, Canada, for The Universal Chamber. By then, The Bloodline will have turned on him. Now, maybe the tease of that turn happens after he wins The Royal Rumble. Sadly, that’s probably not going to happen, but maybe he’s a part of the final four. Sami Zayn is the guy to dethrone Roman Reigns would be a sight to behold. Sami Zayn has a built-in storyline with him and Roman Reigns, but the rumor mill suggests that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will go up against (C) The Usos for The Undisputed Tag Team Championships. It’s unlikely he will win, but anything can happen in WWE.

Cody Rhodes – The Men’s Rumble Winner

Cody Rhodes is the odds-on favorite to win The 2023 Men’s, Royal Rumble. The Cody Rhodes story to capture the WWE Championship from Roman Reigns. Cody Rhodes doing something that his father couldn’t do, which is to win The WWE Championship and end the dominant reign of Roman Reigns. The fans want to see it. I wrote a phenomenal article months ago detailing a storyline for Cody Rhodes to conquer Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 in Sofi Stadium. Cody Rhodes seems the right choice to most fans, but we shall see.

Rhea Ripley – The Women’s Rumble Winner

Rhea Ripley (Mami) is red hot right now. She and Dominik Mysterio are some of the best things going on in WWE. Rhea Ripley and (C) Bianca Belair had an interaction recently on Monday Night Raw where Bianca Belair said something, and Rhea Ripley then replied with something. Still, both ladies were staring at one another, and then the segment ended. Rhea Ripley’s star is finally shining, and she is the Chyna of Judgement Day. All of the momentum within the women’s division is on the side of Rhea Ripley, and as a fan of hers, it’s great to see. Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley have been kept apart for a reason. I pray that’s because the new administration plans a Rhea Ripley versus Bianca Belair – RAW Women’s Championship to be conducted at WrestleMania 39. It’s Rhea Ripley’s time come January if you ask me, but we don’t know what Triple H has planned.

Charlotte Flair – The Women’s Rumble Winner

Charlotte Flair is a name that will return soon. The question is, when does it happen? I think it’s at The Royal Rumble if you think about it. The issue I have is that she SHOULD NOT be in consideration to be the winner. The thing is, I heard a rumor that Charlotte Flair versus Bianca Belair is a match to take place at WrestleMania 39 possibly. Listen, is that a big-time match? Yes. I don’t feel like putting Charlotte Flair back in the title picture is the right call. Giving others a chance on top is the best course of action. Charlotte Flair is a wild card and a real contender to win. Ric Flair has gone on record and said that Charlotte Flair versus Bianca Belair will be the ”biggest women’s match” that WWE has ever put on. Is that true? No. But will the match be good? Yes. Both ladies are outstanding inside the ring. Charlotte Flair winning won’t go over that well with the fans.

Becky Lynch – The Women’s Rumble Winner

The Man returned at Survivor Series. Now, we go into The Royal Rumble, and it’s clear that we are getting Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey happening at WrestleMania. A lot of fans are picking Becky Lynch to win in January. Here’s the thing, I don’t feel like Becky Lynch needs The Royal Rumble win as she can find a different way to Ronda Rousey heading into WrestleMania, and that’s through The Elimination Chamber number one contender’s match.

I want to pick who I think will be in the final four for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.

(Men’s)

  1. Cody Rhodes
  2. Seth Rollins
  3. Austin Theory
  4. Sami Zayn

(Women’s)

  1. Becky Lynch
  2. Rhea Ripley
  3. Beth Phoenix
  4. Charlotte Flair

I hope you all enjoy this article. I cannot wait for The 2023 Royal Rumble as there is a lot of pressure on Triple H to give us the right winners come January. Let’s hope he makes the right call. Until next time, Woooo.
